Here is a very cool track called  Just A Little  Written by { Caravello } May 1980 . And recorded live on April 26th 1981 .. It features Eve Shalley on Lead Vocal and Me and Phil on the backups .. I always wanted to write a Bubble Gum or today they may call it Radio Disney type song . { Another words for the kids . Kiddy Rock } .  It was also meant to have Eve step out from behind the piano and front the band for a song .. Love the energy in this one . And it is performed very tight . There are now 3 bands in the U.S.A covering it in the clubs . So of course you know that makes me feel good . One day i woke up and said , Today i am  going to write a song called  Suppose  by { Caravelo } in Dec 1979/Jan 1980 . And recorded live on stage on April 26th 1981 .. Once you say that to yourself , the lyrics can come to you easily . {{  Suppose this , Suppose that , Suppose the other thing . Lots to say there . }} Written on acoustic guitar . And was going to keep it as a lite song until i started writing bass lines to it . And saw the potential of a really good diverse rocker in the New Wave and now called Classic rock mode .. It has a very tight arrangment put to it . It is not only the notes and chords played that make it special . It is how thay are played . . When in this case a band puts a live stage act together . Each song has rolls to play in the music set .  You need a good opener . {  We would always perform the song Lucky Face  for that .  } Good rockers and balleds that are gig fillers . And then a good closer . Which this next song is and was .  It has got the emotion and energy to pull it off .  It is called  Everlovin Man Written by { Caravello } in 6-77 to 1-78 . And recorded live on stage on April 26th 1981 . I have always loved the way the dynamics worked in this one . It needs a tight band to perform it , other wise don't even try . There are very good rock bands out there today such as Evanescence with Amy Lee . Who play songs like this one . We gave it a progressive rock feel that had great rhythmic changes . It has been called by many as a show stopper .  A great one to play before the encores . And it did lift us a few steps higher on stage . It kicked Ass Man . Here is a song that will be considered our 3rd single off of this lp . It has a different feel and style to it than some of the other songs . Originally written as a Rock tune { Which was recorded and will be out on our next studio lp in the late spring 2012 } .. But this version , a Rock/RnB/Pop version is right here on this lp . It is called  Silver Lady # 2 Written by { Caravello } in June/Dec. 1980 . And recorded live on April 26th 1981 . It features Phil on lead vocals with Eve and Michael on the backups .. The rhythm section on this track is so tight and funky with great rhythm guitar by Mardy , solid drums by Mike , slap pickout bass guitarby Me , and solos by eve and phil on piano and lead guitar . lol !  A fun time for all .  THE I JUST LOVE THAT DREAM LP BY - WAVZ

This song was the very First Original that we felt as young writers was good enough to perform on stage with a live rock band . It is called  Lucky Face # Two  Written by  { Caravello & Velasquez } In June 1976 . And recorded live in the studio on Dec 27th 1980 .. A mid 70's hard edged type rocker with  great energy , soloing , vocals , & note hook , And lyric's you can laugh at .. In June of 76 a few days after the Prism band performed it's First gig , Phil and i thought it would be cool to perform a fresh original at our next gig which was just 2 weeks away . So one weekday afternoon we put our heads together for about 3 hours in my bedroom ,  and came out with this rocker .  From 1976 up until the mid 90's when i performed on stage this was my opener .. The title came to me from an old Beatles bootleg i owned where in a live gig John Lennon says to the audience in that lovely British accent > You've Got A Lucky Face . I just loved it ....  This song is like an old friend to me .  Thank God for Lucky Face .  By the way it is in D major .

Here is a very cool and tight  , compact Pop Rock song . Back when written ,  it was originally composed by Eve on the piano .. She handed it over to our guitarist Marty to work on . A few days later he showed me a new rhythm for it that he played on his guitar . I then wrote a bass line according to that  . We showed it to Eve and she loved it . Then Phil worked on a nice simple lead guitar for it  . We took it to the studio and worked out a drum part with Michael .. It ended up being one of the tightest songs we played . A true group efford . It is Called  More Than Just Talk Written by { Shalley } in Oct.1980 and recorded live in thew studio on Dec. 28th 1980 .. There is also a live stage version of it on our new lp . A very cool and fun song to play . Eve fronts the band doing lead vocal and i'm on backup .   . Enjoy !

This track was the very last song this Wavz lineup rehearsed .. It is calld  Suckers Insane Written By { Caravello } In March 1981 .. And recorded live in the studio on April 21st 1981 . As this band went along ,  we were getting pretty Funky . Playing out tight rhythms . And having the instruments really work off of each other as you will hear here ..  . The Lyrics are about my feeling towards John Lennon's Killer .. There sure was hateful feelings going on .. But really this song works even today  . We all have  , one time or another known someone who is a little crazy . didn't we ??  It has received 1000's of hits here . Take a listen .

OH YES !! THE TITLE CUT OF THIS VERY COOL ALBUM .....   I guess you can say , this next one is a song of Seconds . It is the title cut of this our Second Wavz album . And also it is the Second version of this wonderful song . It is called    I JUST LOVE THAT DREAM # 2  Written by { Caravello & Velasquez } in Jan. 1977 . And recorded live in the studio on Dec. 27 1980 . The lyrics explain the life long dream of making it in music ..... While this band was together , it was for sure the big one for us . { The one we would all look forward to performing . }  And it really was a challenge .  Unlike the First version which features mostly lead Guitar . This one is a full group effort . With each one of us having a solo bit to play ..... Sometimes i am asked , out of the Hundreds of songs i have written . Which one is my all time favorite ?  I have to point to this one .....   Thank you all for all of the 1000's of hits this song has received .... This song is probably one of the oldest originals that will appear and be sold on our Website . It's my baby .  And it is called  Just For You  Written by { Caravello & Sycora } In August 1975 . And recorded live in the studio on Sept 28th 1979 .   I started writing songs back in 1968 . And by 1975 i had about 25 written . Then dealing with a Girlfriend's depression and finding a very cool chord change , i started writing this one . At First it was a balled . But then in 1976 Working With Eddie Sycora who played 12 string acoustic Rhythm Guitar . He found the best strum this song could end up having . So we sped it up a bit  , put a group arrangement to it , And at a count of 4 , we ended up with a very good commercial Rocker with a slight latin rock feel to it . Also great lead Guitar work by our Guitarist at the time Gene Rizzo . Out of all my originals i probably played this one the most . It's part of me .  Just Love It forever .
Here goes what we would call a Beatles type of balled . The day Phil came over and played this amazing song that he had just written to Eddie & i  . It Was like , Where did you get this gift from ?  It's beautiful . So we worked hard at putting the right musical & vocal parts to it . It is called Won't Be Sad  Written by { Velasquez } in Oct. 1977 . And recorded live in the studio on Oct 11th 1979 .  Wonderful inspirational lyrics to a very simple chord patteron and beautiful melody .  . On the last vocal part which is a 3 part harmony . We kept thinking wouldn't it be cool to do what the Beatles did on Because & Sun King . So Phil , Johnny & i tryed our best to sing like them . Take a listen and see . Hope you enjoy.
AH YES ! !   THIS ALBUM'S DIVERSE TITLE TRACK . It is called Stripper Written by { Caravello & Velasquez } in July 1976 . And recorded live in the studio on Oct. 11th 1979 .. I started writing this song with an idea  of making up a story about a unsuccessful musician who ends up meeting an over the hill Stripper named Seatrain .. If it would be a book or a screen play , The story would be that they would get to know each other , find failure as something in common , Fall in love ,  and live happily ever after . lol !  Of course , it is based in N.Y.C on Times Sq 42nd st in the mid 70's where at that time , was loaded with Burlesque houses .....  It started as a rocker . I messed around with it for a day or so . Then a week later picked it up again ,  as i was in a mellow mood . So a lite balled came out of me . Then a few days later a country mood  . In the Roy Clark style . By this time i knew i was writing something special . In the Abbey Road Medley vain . Or even a Yes type of set long song . The hardest challenge was blending the parts together .  So i called up Phil ,  and explained to him what i had so far .  And he simply says >  Well keep going until you have an ending . Don't stop ! !   I'll come by , and we can fine tune it together .. As we did .  I added a cool music break , then shot back to the First part which was the rock mood . Altogether we have here a Classic Rock type song with 4 different styles thrown in to it . which is 9 minutes plus long ..... Yes it is strange . And you will either love it or hate it . Lots of people love it . As it has been proven .  It has received 1000's of hits here . One of the most popular songs on this Website .  Now looking forward to releasing alternative version of it off of our new live lp . And maybe even shooting a performance video of it . This whole album has songs that were influenced by  what we call today Classic Rock Artist . Each Wavz member had there fave . I with McCartney , Phil With Clapton , And Ed with the Stones .. You can hear 60's flavor lead guitar & bass lines in it . The song is called  Life Long Model  Written by { Sycora } in Nov. 1977 and recorded live in the studio on Sept 28th 1979 .. Ed wrote it on his 12 string acoustic . Show it to Phil an i and we were blown away . The rest of the band put there own parts to it . It is very very tight . and has received 1000's of hits here . Love Ed's vocals . It has a little bit of Jagger and Tom Petty to it . And that is gene Rizzo  and i on Backup vocals . So !  Step back into the late 60's and enjoy !!!!!   What is so cool is that  , Eddie would have loved to know that now people all around the world are listening and downloading his music . Sad to say he passed away at age 40 in 1992 . R.I.P  ED . We will never stop missing you . Luv Vinny !
